I have a dell vostro 3500 laptop. now possibly 2. five years old. how can i check the prime battery remaining capacity, performance, life expectancy. is this unit fitted with such equipment to tell me exactly what i asked. if so what and how do i do to get the info. the laptop has recently shown a pop up indicating that the battery will still accept a charge but life expectancy can be limited. how can this be. is this a sales ploy to sell me another battery. i also have an acer laptop whose battery runs day and night hassle free for the past nine years.

I have just bought dell expiron in September from a dealer in lesotho. It had the left speaker problem whereby it did not respond. Then i used dell audio to setup it again, but the right speaker responded even when i tested the left speaker. I then took it to the dealer who transported it to dell south africa. It came well with the two speakers working. This time the right speaker also did the same problem. It just stopped like that. I did everything to test the speakers, but only left speaker respond. When i test the right speaker the left speaker take the position of the left speaker and respond twice. I love dell, but it has dissapointed me. I am at the university student here in my country lesotho and my work is disturbed due to this problem. When i took it back it took almost weeks. They did not even borrow me one computer to use while mine is fixed. This is another problem i am going to wait again.
